Yesterday Morning the roof of the Art Gallery here in GP collapsed. It is one of the oldest building in Grande Prairie built in 1929. They are blaming snow for the collapse. Thankfully no one was hurt as someone noticed a crack and called the fire department. There is a daycare in the building, as well as school tours daily. No word yet about the art though. The city has been fundraising for a new art gallery/ library. I guess now that project will get the go ahead.
