Our Winter Camping Adventure

Ok, so Estelle asked for pictures so I thought I had better get them up tonight or it would be another couple of days. We went camping with friend Feb 22-24th at Hide-Away Cabins between Grande Cache and Hinton. It was a great weekend. Benjamin had SO much fun .
These 5 pictures are backwards..
This is Ben and Jordyn laying on the air mattress Ash was pumping up.

Ben and Jordyn watching the fire...that had just been started
Darren, Jordyn, Jason and Ben watching the fire
Darren starting the fire and Benjamin supervising. So we arrived at the cabins at 8pm on Friday night. It was -33 with a wind chill. The sleeping cabins were so cold!! We started all the heaters and hung out in the cooking cabin. It ended up that only 2 couples could sleep in the cabin. Jason and Jodi brought a space heater, so they were able to warm up one cabin enough. The rest of us slept in the cooking cabin.... well we napped in the cabin. The babies had a rough night.

The meals were all split up so that we only had to bring food and cook one meal. Sat morning breakfast was Sara and Darren Issac and Marty.

Ssaturday was -28 so we had to find inside activities.. Plus everyone had naps.
Ben and Sara colored together
And then Sara had to draw a hockey shirt, nest, refs and pucks.

Darren's big catch was the only catch of the weekend.
