Our Butchering Adventures.

Here is Darren with the Buffalo... What an adventure. Short story... Some bulls got out by Beaverlodge... they were annoying farmers who were calving and were on the highway. So the RCMP went out and shot them...... They didn't do a very good job. But we got the animal free. So along with Darren and Sara, and Sara's parents we have about 600lbs of meat.
The bison spent a week at the butcher shop, they chopped it up and vacum packed it. Darren and Sara are renovating their bathroom, so we kept the meat in the tub covered with snow until we were ready for it. Benjamin poking at the meat.....
Darren sorting
And covering it back up... it was 21 here yesterday. So we were thankful Darren and Sara had a little snow left in their back yard.
