Well we made it home safely and I have already spent hours trying to sort out almost 800 pictures. I have been trying to figure out how many pictures to post and of what. So I have decided to post a day or two at a time depending on how full each day was. So here is day one and two August 16th and 17th. Which is our drive from Grande Prairie to Whitehorse. Our first night on the road was spent in Tetsa River. It is about 9 hours north of Grande Prairie in BC. if you read my last post you know it was an adventure. The cabin was small and the power and water was shut off from 10pm until 6am.
Here is mom in our cabin. The beds actually touched.

The kitchen and bathroom and the third bed. The door to the bathroom was a thin accordion style door. It offered very limited privacy. The bathroom was pretty useless since we had to water pretty much the whole time we were there.
This is in the main building. A very busy place... not with people but with stuff.
They do trail rides at Tetsa. One of the owners had just gotten back from checking on the other horses. Their horses wear big cow bells and just wander out on the highway eating from the ditches. A little scary when you are driving.
We had breakfast in Toad River. It is awesome there.
Here is Ash, Dad and Benjamin
They had a huge hat collection at Toad River. This was the total on the way north
The hats are all hung on the roof.

We were in Watson Lake for lunch on Friday. Much of our time there was spent getting my ankle xrayed. But we did stop to see the signs.
Dad, not quite sure where to start.
Ash and Benjamin almost lost
Playing at the park in Watson.
Some Wonderful time out of the car seat for Benjamin
